Ukrainians and Welsh Together Prayed for Ukraine at Llandaff Cathedral

The Ukrainian community in Wales held a moving prayer service at Llandaff Cathedral, where they gathered to pray for Ukraine and for peace. The event brought together Ukrainians living in Wales and local residents who support Ukraine in its struggle for freedom and independence.

Among the distinguished guests who joined the event were Baroness Finlay of Llandaff, Senate member Mark Drakeford, Dean The Very Reverend Dr. Jason Bray, and Father Gareth Rayner-Williams. The “Heartstrings” choir performed touching songs, including the Ukrainian anthem, which added emotional depth to this important event. After the service, a tea gathering with Ukrainian treats was held.

The organizers expressed deep gratitude to everyone who participated in the event, as well as to Llandaff Cathedral for their hospitality, the Ukrainian Hub, and all the volunteers who worked on organizing the event.

For those who couldn’t attend in person, part of the recording is available.
