FERRYSIDE – A Ukrainian art exhibition at Greenspace Gallery has launched to an exceptional community response, with gallery owner Dorothy Morris praising the “brilliant” turnout on opening day.
Located at the Calon y Fferi Centre in Ferryside, the exhibition showcases Ukrainian artistic works and will run through August and September. Morris expressed her heartfelt thanks to the local community for their overwhelming support of the cultural initiative.
“Brilliant turn out today, thank you everyone so much for your support,” Morris stated following the successful opening.
The exhibition is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday from 11am to 4pm throughout its two-month run. Greenspace Gallery, operated by Morris, provides a dedicated space for artistic expression and community engagement.
Morris brings extensive experience to the gallery, with a background as an artist, art teacher, and lecturer. She has exhibited her work across Wales, Britain, and internationally. Her educational credentials include a BA (Hons) in Fashion and Textiles and an MA in Fine Art from The Swansea Institute of Higher Education.
The Ukrainian art exhibition represents an important cultural bridge during challenging times, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with Ukrainian artistic heritage and contemporary expression. The gallery’s commitment to showcasing diverse artistic voices continues with this meaningful exhibition.
Members of the public are encouraged to visit during regular gallery hours throughout the exhibition period, which concludes at the end of September.
