The Golden Time Club had the opportunity to visit the Welsh Parliament (Senedd Cymru) in Cardiff, bringing together three generations of Ukrainians for an educational and meaningful experience.
The visit allowed elderly parents, their adult children, and grandchildren to discover together how democracy works in Wales while experiencing the hospitable spirit of their new home country. For many elderly participants who arrived from Ukraine after the war began, such moments help overcome loneliness, build cultural bridges, and develop a sense of belonging.
The Welsh Parliament and Senedd Cymru teams provided warm hospitality and professional guidance throughout the visit, leaving the Ukrainian community feeling welcomed and valued as part of Welsh civic life.
