The Ukrainian Catholic community across Wales has seen a change in its pastoral leadership. Father Taras, who had previously served the community, has been transferred to Edinburgh.
He is succeeded by Father Lubomyr, who will now travel from Gloucester each month to celebrate the Divine Liturgy. This new arrangement, announced by the Ukrainian Catholic Church, centralises the monthly services in Cardiff.
An announcement from community member Cyndy Litnianska explained that due to the travel required from Gloucester, Father Lubomyr would be unable to continue holding services in Swansea or Newport. The Cardiff location will now serve as the monthly gathering point for the Ukrainian Catholic community in Wales.
The first service under the new arrangement was held on Sunday, 26th October. The upcoming schedule for Ukrainian Masses is:
- Sunday, 23rd November at 16:00
 - Sunday, 28th December at 16:00

All services are held at the Holy Family R.C Church, Carter Place, Cardiff CF5 3NP.
Father Lubomyr has also extended a warm invitation for all to join him for tea and coffee in the church hall after the service. Everyone is welcome.
