A new study group focusing on driving theory in Great Britain is launching in Cardiff, offering essential knowledge for Ukrainians planning to drive in the UK.
The course begins on 13th November with weekly sessions taking place every Thursday at 5:30pm at the Ukrainian Hub in Cardiff. The comprehensive programme is designed to equip participants with the knowledge needed to navigate British roads safely and legally.
The curriculum covers a detailed examination of UK road traffic regulations, fundamentals of safe and accident-free driving, and practical knowledge from an experienced instructor with over 25 years of driving experience and more than 8 years teaching in the driver education sector. Each topic is essential for those planning to drive in Great Britain.
The course is particularly suitable for several groups: those who have no previous driving experience, those with limited driving experience in Ukraine but who wish to feel confident on British roads, and those who can guarantee attendance at all six sessions, which include 12 hours of instruction.
Places are limited to a maximum of 15 participants. If the initial group fills up, organisers plan to run another course in 3-4 months. The training is conditionally free, with only an organisational fee of £30 covering materials, transport costs, and support for the Ukrainian Hub.
Interested participants can register via private message at t.me/Vodiyka98 or contact Tania Mohyletska directly. This initiative addresses a vital practical need for members of the Ukrainian community in Wales who are working towards independence and integration in their new home.
