The “Sunflowers Wales” organization held an event dedicated to Taras Shevchenko’s birthday for the third time. Gathering became a true celebration of Ukrainian culture and spirit. The program included recitation of Shevchenko’s poetry, Ukrainian folk songs, contests, and assembling puzzles based on the Kobzar’s paintings. These activities not only entertained the participants but also allowed them to rediscover the multifaceted heritage of Shevchenko in a new way.

UK Introduces Digital ID Check for Ukraine Visa Extensions – No More Visa Center Visits for Many
The UK government has introduced a significant improvement to the Ukraine Scheme visa extension process. As of March 5, 2025, applicants can now use the UK Immigration: ID Check app when applying for a Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE), eliminating the need to visit a visa center for biometric verification in many cases.
