The town of Abergavenny came together on Saturday, August 23rd, to mark Ukrainian Independence Day in a show of solidarity with Ukraine and the local Ukrainian community.

On August 24th, Victoria Park in Cardiff became a vibrant meeting place for families, friends, and supporters of Ukraine as the city hosted its fourth annual celebration of Ukrainian Independence Day. Organised by the local Ukrainian community, the event brought together music, dance, art, and food in a joyful tribute to Ukrainian culture and resilience.

On August 24th, the Ukrainian community in Swansea gathered to mark Ukraine’s Independence Day with a vibrant and heartfelt celebration. The event featured music, dance, children’s activities, and traditional food, creating a warm atmosphere of unity and pride.

Fifty-five Ukrainians recently enjoyed a memorable day trip exploring two of Wales’ historic landmarks – Caerphilly Castle and Coch Castle. The excursion proved to be a resounding success, creating positive emotions and new experiences for participants of all ages.

As part of a week-long Children’s Holiday Camp, Ukrainian children in Wales enjoyed a trip to a Ukrainian-run adventure park in Dare Valley, thanks to the generous support of the Cardiff Bay Rotary Club. The day was filled with fun, allowing the children to enjoy quality time in nature and engaging in various activities without the distraction of screens.
