Gala Concert in Cardiff Celebrates World Festival of Ukrainian Art and Culture
On the weekend of 27–28 June 2025, Cardiff became the proud host of one of the regional heats and the gala concert of the World Festival of Ukrainian Art and Culture. Organised at Eglwys Dewi Sant, the event brought together performers, visual artists, and creatives of all ages to celebrate Ukrainian culture and heritage in the heart of Wales.

On June 22nd and 29th, visitors to Ffos Las Racecourse had a unique opportunity to experience a powerful fusion of art, culture, and compassion. Ukrainian artist Nataliia Zabolotska presented a collection of her detailed and expressive artworks, primarily featuring horses, alongside floral and landscape motifs. Her exhibition drew attention not only for its technical mastery but for the moving story it told—the story of rescued horses from Ukraine.
Ukrainian Artist Meets Welsh Parliament Members in Caerphilly
Ukrainian artist Olesia Myftakhova recently met with Members of the Senedd and local councillors in Caerphilly to show her artwork and discuss potential future exhibitions. The meeting included Senedd Members Delyth Jewell AS/MS and Peredur Owen Griffiths AS/MS, along with Caerphilly councillors Steve Skivens and Michael Edwards. The officials showed interest in Myftakhova’s work and discussed possibilities for future exhibitions.
