On the evening of 4th July 2025, the Pennard Community Hall in Swansea will host a vibrant cultural event titled “Welsh and Ukrainians United,” organised by the community group Voice of Ukraine Wales. The programme promises a warm and festive atmosphere celebrating Ukrainian heritage and its connections with Welsh culture.
The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Pennard Community Hall, located on Pennard Road (SA3 2AD). Visitors will be welcomed with refreshments and can enjoy a variety of performances that reflect the richness of Ukrainian traditions.
Highlights of the evening include:
A catwalk presentation showcasing traditional Ukrainian costumes in everyday life.
Live music by the band “Captain Cat and the Sailors”.
Traditional Ukrainian dances performed by Dance4Ukraine.
Popular Ukrainian songs by Olex Andra.
In addition to music and dance, there will be raffle tickets, community interaction, and opportunities to learn more about Ukraine’s cultural identity in a friendly, inclusive environment.
All proceeds from the event will go towards purchasing medical supplies for Ukraine, making it not only a celebration but also an act of solidarity and support.
