The Welsh Refugee Council, Senedd 4 Ukraine, and the Ukrainian community in Wales are inviting the public to participate in a Holodomor commemoration ceremony in Cardiff on Saturday, 22 November 2025.
The event will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Eglwys Dewi Sant, Saint Andrew’s Crescent, Cardiff CF10 3DD, and will honour the memory of millions of victims of the artificial famine of 1932-33 in Ukraine.
Organisers are calling on the Ukrainian community and all friends of Ukraine in Wales to join together in remembrance of those who perished during this tragic period in Ukrainian history. The commemoration ceremony aims to remember the victims and ensure that the Holodomor is never forgotten.
The event is supported by the Welsh Government, demonstrating Wales’s solidarity with Ukraine and its commitment to preserving the memory of this historical tragedy.
