Ukrainian artist Olesia Miftahova will open her solo exhibition “Garden of Memories: Growing Beyond” at Penallta House in Caerphilly on 19 September. The exhibition features her recent work exploring themes of memory and personal heritage through landscapes and surrealist pieces created in pastel and textured media.

The opening reception will be held on Thursday, 19 September at 12:00 pm at Penallta House (Ground Floor), Tredomen Business Park, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed, CF82 7PG. The one-hour event will include live Ukrainian dance and music performances, followed by traditional Ukrainian food for attendees.

The exhibition runs from 19 September to 17 October 2025.

Miftahova’s work spans several series, from real-place landscapes to explorations of spirituality, inviting viewers to reflect on memory and the passage of time through her artistic perspective.
