The Ukrainian Hub in Cardiff will hold its next Book Club meeting on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The meeting will take place at the Ukrainian Hub located at 24 St Andrew’s Crescent, Cardiff, CF10 3DD.

The club will discuss George Orwell’s classic novel about freedom, control, memory and power. This follows their previous discussion which was described as a lively and exceptionally interesting conversation.

Participants can read the book in either the original English or in Ukrainian translation. The organizers encourage people not to worry if they haven’t finished reading by August 16.

The Book Club is part of the Ukrainian Hub’s regular activities in Cardiff. The organizers expressed enthusiasm for new book discoveries and meaningful discussions ahead.

The meeting is open to Ukrainian community members interested in literary discussion.
