The Ukrainian Hub in Cardiff celebrated the eve of Valentine’s Day with a special concert of songs and poetry that warmed everyone’s hearts. The event, which took place on February 13th, brought together talented performers who staged a fantastic concert featuring poetry readings and musical performances.
Organized by Viktoriya Kizim, the evening featured a touching and uplifting programme that created a wonderful atmosphere in the Hub. Young performers and community members came together to share their talents, performing against a backdrop of Ukrainian and Welsh flags, with the space beautifully decorated with heart-shaped balloons and traditional Ukrainian sunflowers.
Guests enjoyed the intimate atmosphere while having refreshments, including wine and appetizers, creating a warm and friendly environment perfect for the Valentine’s celebration. The performers delivered a diverse range of songs and poetry, filling the evening with music and artistic expression.
The Ukrainian Hub, located on the first floor of the Capitol Shopping Centre, once again proved its importance as a cultural center for the Ukrainian community in Cardiff, where people can come together to celebrate and support each other through art and culture.
