A welcoming English Conversation Club meets every Tuesday at Ruta Kitchen in Swansea, offering local residents a relaxed opportunity to practice their language skills in a friendly, supportive environment.
Organised by Arthur Rogers, a volunteer and friend of the Ukrainian community, the club takes place at 2pm at Ruta Kitchen on 14 Nelson Street in Swansea city centre (upstairs). The informal gathering is open to anyone who wants to improve their spoken English, regardless of current proficiency level.
The sessions are completely free to attend and require no advance registration. Participants can simply turn up and join others in casual conversation practice. The relaxed atmosphere makes it an ideal setting for building confidence, meeting new people, and making friends while developing English communication skills.
Arthur Rogers, who organises these weekly meetups, emphasises the supportive nature of the club, where participants can practice conversational English without pressure. The venue, Ruta Kitchen, provides a comfortable space for these community gatherings.
Those interested in attending can find the club every Tuesday afternoon at the same time and location. It’s an excellent opportunity for members of the Ukrainian community in Wales and others looking to enhance their English in a welcoming, informal setting.
